Toute petite cigale (taille comparable à celle de la Cigale pygmée).

Deux taches souvent en forme de "U" sur le thorax. Les lignes claires sur l'abdomen semblent souvent bicolores (ce qui ne serait pas le cas chez T. pygmaea).

Par dessous, le mâle a de grandes cymbales claires ; le dessous de l'abdomen est entièrement clair (pas de bande noire comme T. pygmaea).
